Classic American Ford Econoline E350 Front Brakes Replacement | RV Motorhome Rebuild Updates
We have been replacing the front brakes on our classic American Ford Econoline E350 RV today. I have to say, considering the brakes are the size of a small truck, they are really simple to replace, much easier than our Jaguar XJ brakes that's for sure.

In our latest episode we continue with the RV kitchen build, over the two areas we are using for this. We also continue with the build of the shower. Feedback we have received so far suggest people love the shower, saying to us that it is quite luxurious. Who does not love a nice refreshing shower in the mornings

In our latest Youtube video we have proper flames in the motorhome kitchen. Things are beginning to get rather toasty in the kitchen when the LPG cooker is installed. The kitchen sink is also installed, but we need your opinions about the sink/shower tap hose arrangement. The kitchen fridge is built under a worktop on the far side of the motorhome, as a timber frame goes in to accommodate it.

In this weekend’s video we completed the large shower build and also laid the laminate flooring in the salvage Ford motorhome that we bought almost as scrap in 2021 for £1700, plus the £260 delivery charge,
Some people on social media thought that we had gone completely mad for buying the motorhome, believing that it would end up not getting finished, whilst others had the sense to have the same vision that we had. LOL … Take a look at the transformation today.
Shower
The large shower build uses white plastic panels to line the shower walls. Behind these plastic panels are 3.6mm plywood sheets that have been coated with fibreglass mating and coated with resin, to ensure no water at all is getting through.
The shower floor has been finished with a wood grain pattern linoleum material, and is slightly sloped at each end to help with water drainage, particularly if the motorhome isn’t on level ground.
John wanted a large showering area where he would not feel cramped, and we hope that you agree with us that the wish has been achieved.
Flooring
The floor of the motorhome has been finished with a laminate flooring.
A budget floor was used which was bought from B&Q, on a 4 for the price of 3 pack deal. It was a coincidence that the colour of the shower lino matched the colour of the laminate flooring.
